Statement of Faith
There is one and only one true living God who eternally exists in three separate and distinct persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We affirm the biblical and orthodox teaching of the Trinity.
Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man, one Person in two natures. He was conceived through the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, was crucified under Pontius Pilate, arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father as our High Priest and Advocate.
Salvation is only possible in and through Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Jesus Christ, as our representative and substitute, shed His blood on the cross as the perfect, all-sufficient sacrifice for our sins. His atoning death and victorious resurrection constitute the only ground for salvation. Propitiation is received by faith in the person and finished work of Christ.
The 5 Solas
The Redeemed Project Radio team affirm the 5 Solas of the Protestant Reformation. These 5 doctrinal points simply teach the following: According to Scripture (our ultimate authority), sinners are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone for the glory of God alone.
- Sola Scriptura – Scripture alone is the ultimate and highest authority for the Church as it relates to Christian teaching and practice.
- Sola Gratia – We are saved by God’s grace alone, not our works.
- Sola Fide – We are justified (declared righteous before and by God) by faith alone in Christ, not by our works.
- Solus Christus – We are saved by Christ’s finished work on the cross, not by our works.
- Soli Deo Gloria – God alone deserves all the glory for salvation.
Creeds & Confessions
Redeemed Project Radio strives for unity, even among diversity on secondary/non-primary issues. We are united by the work of our Lord and Savior, although we may disagree on some issues that do not change or add to the gospel or view of God. Everything in Scripture is important, including things that pertain to non-essential doctrine (eschatology, church government, head coverings, etc…); however, there are historical creeds and confessions that clearly reflect biblical doctrine relating to both essential and non-essential issues.
The ecumenical creeds below, for example, relate to what is essential and primary for the church, regardless of denomination or sect. These are documents that all Christians should affirm. They deal with the gospel and view of God. Please feel free to click on each one to learn more about it below. The confessions listed below are all Reformed, but contain secondary / non-essential issues within. The Redeemed Project Radio team affirm the essential teachings of Scripture (listed above), the ecumenical creeds and at least one or more of the reformed confessions below. The team also affirm the Doctrines of Grace – learn more about that by clicking here.
